Saddleback College is seeking a part-time, non-tenure track Kinesiology Instructor to teach a variety of Health and/or Kinesiology courses within the Kinesiology & Athletics Division. Course assignments may include lecture, lab, or activity-based classes, and could be scheduled during the fall, spring, and summer terms, based on departmental needs and instructor availability.
The successful candidate will demonstrate subject-matter expertise, effective teaching strategies, and a commitment to student success. Responsibilities include preparing and delivering course content, assessing student performance, maintaining accurate records, and supporting the division’s academic and programmatic goals.
The instructor will report to the Dean of Kinesiology & Athletics/Athletics Director and is expected to collaborate with faculty and staff to promote an inclusive, engaging, and academically rigorous learning environment.
Temporary, part-time faculty positions offer the opportunity to assist a diverse group of students in achieving their educational goals. As one of the largest community college districts in southern California, we offer a wide range of opportunities in transfer, general education, career, and technical education programs. Please contact CalPERS for additional information regarding your retirement status.
Any active vested member of California State Teachers Retirement System (CalSTRS), who accepts employment with the SOCCCD to perform service that requires membership in CalPERS, is eligible to elect to continue retirement system coverage under CalSTRS
